Hello Moto – the Moto G6: the new addition in the Motorola G series line up. Motorola announced their new range of devices – the G Series, mid-range smartphone series earlier this year, and after a long wait, the loyal customers will be able to finally own them. We also appreciate Motorola’s effort to bring in the three mid-range smartphones after the G series line up started losing its place in the market. The move is sure to boost the sales and revive Motorola’s position in the Indian market.
Moving on, we will talk a little about each of the three Moto beauties individually in future articles, but right now let’s just focus on Moto G6.
Moto G6: The newest addition in the G series family
Motorola finally announced the much anticipated Moto G6, and with the launch, the brand has finally switched to new 18: 9 aspect ratio. Moto G6 has a 5.7 inch full HD IPS display and is packed with Snapdragon 450 processor for a super quick user experience.
Talking about the camera, Moto G6 is equipped with a dual 12MP+ 5MP primary camera setup which is capable of recording videos up to 4K, and an 8MP secondary camera which provides excellent wide-angle selfies as claimed by Motorola.
Moto G6 is powered by a 3000mAH Lithium-ion battery and comes with Motorola’s Turbo Charger. The phone operates on Android 8.0 Oreo and is expected to receive future updates.
What are the new things you can expect from Moto G6?
All these specifications have become too common and are readily available in any smartphone available at a similar price, and even Motorola knows that. Hence, the real question is, what unique feature Motorola is offering in its new Moto G series phones? Let’s take a look below:
- Motorola has improved a lot in terms of design, and the new line up is made up of aluminum along with a glass back for a premium look. The same separates it from other smartphones available in this category with a poor build quality and with the same old cliché design.
- Moto G6 also supports NFC and Type C which is the demand of the hour. In 2018, everyone wants quick charging facility, and the same is missing in almost all the other mid-range smartphones. The phone also has Dolby Audio mode which will provide you the peerless audio experience.
Water Resistance Overview of Moto G6
The phone is not water resistant, but it is splash proof as claimed by Motorola. And, as wise men have said, something is better than nothing.
