Now, without further delay, let’s move on to the specs of Oppo Realme 1. But before we do that, I would like to express my opinion about Oppo’s new launch, “considering the jaw-dropping specifications of Realme 1, the pricing of the phone was surprising and beyond belief to accept. Oppo has priced the base variant of Realme 1 at an unexpected Rs 8,990. The phone is a tough competitor for Redmi Note 5 and definitely going to seize their sales.

Oppo Realme 1 processor

Starting with the performance, Oppo Realme 1 is powered by Mediatek Helio P60 processor which is one of the latest by Mediatek. The processor is based on 12nm technology. No doubt the performance of this processor is inimitable under this price range.

The phone’s body is designed in fiberglass and has a glossy diamond cutting reflection at the back which is very much similar to OPPO F7. Furthermore, the phone is has a huge 6″ inch full HD IPS display with the aspect ratio of 18:9.

The Oppo Realme 1 is backed up by a 3410mah battery which will we believe will be sufficient owing to the Mediatek’s power efficient chip.

The phone is equipped with a single rear camera of 13 MP along with a front camera of 8 MP which according to Oppo’s statement, takes the help of AI technology to enhance selfies and both the cameras support Portrait Mode. We haven’t used the device, hence we won’t say much about it. But as per the reviews shared by renowned experts, the camera sounds promising and enthralling.

The icing on the cake

The phone is having a dedicated micro SD card slot. YES! you heard that right, Realme 1 has a dedicated micro SD card slot which is quite rare in Xiaomi’s phones in this price range. Only one more phone, the latest release by Asus – Zenfone Max Pro M1 has the same feature in this price range.

Lastly, it is a True Volte device that means both the sim card slots: SIM 1 and SIM 2 will supports 4G Volte.

The turnoffs of Oppo Realme 1

The device lacks a fingerprint sensor which is quite disappointing. However, the same is compensated by the face recognition feature which is said to be very responsive and accurate.
Hence, Oppo very elegantly settled a problem that could have backfired. Having said that, the face recognition struggles to function effectively during the night.
